Based on Charles Gilbertson masters study, he spearheaded the installation of trialing the first ROTOMILL offshore, an industry leading practice which has now been adopted industry wide.

Mission

Charlie Gilbertson's ROTOMILLL trial for TWMA on the Glomar Arctic III proved to the regulators that the technology could be successfully utilised to clean non-aqueous based cuttings to levels permitted under the OSPAR Convention which regulates discharges to the European Marine Environment.

Vision

Almost 25 Years later the ROTOMILL technology is now widely used within the Oil & Gas Industry to assure regulators that Environmental regulations and non-aqueous drilling cuttings can be disposed overboard in a safe and Environmentally friendly manner.
